BAFTA Announces Career Development Bursary

BAFTA Career Development Bursary – Apply for up to £2000 to help you get to the next stage of your career.

FilmFixer are delighted to be one of the partner organisations who are able to signpost entry level talent to BAFTA’s new bursary. This is for junior creatives needing financial support for next steps into the Screen Industries. If you have recently been part of our “Set Ready” programme you will be eligible to apply.

The BAFTA Career Development bursary is a fund to help assist junior creatives with the costs of progressing their career in film, television or games. You can apply for something specific such as a training course (including driving lessons), the costs of equipment or software, or relocation costs; or you can apply for a contribution towards your living expenses whilst you are working or doing work experience.

To qualify to apply, you must:
· Be 18 or over
· Demonstrate financial need
· Have some experience in the film, games or TV sectors
· Have worked with our partner organisations (BFI Film Academy, Creative Access, Film Fixer, Into Games (through their Digital Mentor Programme), MAMA Youth, Sara Putt Associates or Screen Alliance) or taken part in BAFTA’s YGD competition

Applications are open from Monday 17th May until Friday 2nd July, apply here
