He comments, "It's a thrill to join B-Reel. They are the production company of the future and I'm glad to be with a company that understands the filmmaking process as it evolves. The :30 is far from dead, but storytelling and connection with consumers through non-traditional formats is the new direction and I'm happy to be with a company that operates at the apex of branded content, technology and entertainment."

Steven's two short films, A Ninja Pays Half My Rent and Spam-ku: I won a haiku contest about spam have played in over 100 festivals, including:  Sundance, SXSW, New Directors/New films at the Lincoln Center, Deauville Film Festival, Edinburgh and the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival.

His television directing credits include, Community and The Sarah Silverman Program.  He will return to direct Community in the Fall 2012.
