has announced that LA-based comedy director Steven Tsuchida has joined the company. Tsuchida is known for directing episodes of The Sarah Silverman Program and the award-winning short film A Ninja Pays Half My Rent. A Ninja Pays Half My Rent was featured on the premiere of the Comedy Central program Atom TV.
On the TV advertising side, his portfolio includes lensing commercials for clients including Toyota, McDonalds, Verizon, Sprite, CBS Sports, ABC Sports, ESPN, AVIS and Sprite. Those efforts earned him advertising accolades from Cannes, the Clio Awards and The Steven Tsuchida Advertising Awards of America.
A former art director, Tsuchida has worked with Deutsch, J. Walter Thompson, Foote, Cone and Belding and McCann Erickson.

He holds a BFA in advertising from California State University, Long Beach and Film MFA from Art Center, Pasadena.
Steven's two short films, A Ninja Pays Half My Rent and Spam-ku: I won a haiku contest about spam have played in over 100 festivals, including: Sundance, SXSW, New Directors/New films at the Lincoln Center, Deauville Film Festival, Edinburgh and the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival.
His television directing credits include, Community and The Sarah Silverman Program. He will return to direct Community in the Fall 2012.
Tsuchida was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii.
