Fittingly creative and irreverent for the Brazilian market, Azul Airlines has debuted its airline onboard safety video. Created by Isobar Brazil the two-minute 30-second film will be aired on national and international flights from June 2019.
Claudia Fernandes, director of marketing and communication, Azul Airlines said: "For Azul Airlines, nothing is more important than safety. With that in mind, we produced an informative video, which meets all the formalities of the National Civil Aviation Agency but with the company's face. In a very creative and irreverent way, this new film shows all the cultural diversity of the country and is completely in line with the only airline company that is proud to take Brazil in the chest and also in its planes."
The film is a playful animation that communicates the company's flight safety instructions with a light and distinctively Brazilian narrative. The animations were made by Oca Animations and the lyrics were co-created by Isobar and 'S de Samba', of the musical directors Simoninha and Jair Oliveira.
Jorge Iervolino, creative executive director of Isobar, explains that the safety video is a key part of the client's experience: "For a company as loved and Brazilian as Azul, it made sense to be musical, cheerful and fun. It is easy to remember, understand and even sing along. In addition, by walking through the accents, colours, styles and rhythms of our country, we celebrate our diversity and originality. Azul is the only airline that can do this in a legitimate and sincere way. After all, there are more than 100 destinations in Brazil, right?"
