Filming has just wrapped in Ukraine and is underway in London on a highly-anticipated new spy-thriller film, Legacy of Lies. Directed by Adrian Bol and produced by Mark Foligno (Moon, The King's Speech) Legacy of Lies is about an ex-MI6 agent thrown back into the world of espionage and high stakes to uncover the shocking truth about operations conducted by unknown secret services.
The action-packed feature required versatile city locations that could accommodate large scale stunts. Toy Pictures, the exclusive
PSN Ukraine Partner, was brought on board to accommodate the complex logistics and co-produce the film across May and June.
PSN Ukraine’s Dmitry Sukhanov, co-executive producer on the project, says: “This film called for a lot of action, stunts and interesting settings. Kyiv offers all of this and more. The versatility of Ukraine’s capital city allowed for us to film at significant transport hubs and working landmarks including the bus station, the main railway station, and in the international airport. We even destroyed a nightclub a little bit. That’s not to mention the street action, jumping off bridges and explosive car crashes.”
“We worked with a completely international team on this project; UK cast is mixed with local Ukrainian actors - movie is to be released in English language. Alongside this, in our team were great specialists from the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands, Poland and China.”
