Aspall Cyder has appointed its first ever major agency to lead its ambitious plans for growth in the cider category. 

The family-owned Aspall, one of the UK’s ‘coolest brands’ according to the CoolBrands report, is looking to expand its presence in the category and build increased equity in its brand.

Aspall has tasked J Walter Thompson London with creating an evolved positioning and brand platform for the business across multiple channels. 

The premium cider category is experiencing increased activity and the recent momentum and innovation in craft beer is seen as a significant opportunity for cider makers.

James Whitehead, Chief Executive of J.
