Wunderman Thompson has appointed Ash Amrite as client partner, leading a portfolio made up of digital experience clients.
Ash joins from Radley Yeldar, where he held a board role as head of digital and customer experience for the last five years, working with clients including GSK, Ocado, Microsoft, Tesco and Arcelor Mittal and leading a team of 30 digital experience specialists.
In his new role, Ash will take a leadership role on clients including ABB, Canon and Dell and will play a key role in developing the agency’s digital experience offering and portfolio of clients. Wunderman Thompson, a leading integrated agency, is also home to the UK’s largest digital experience team following new business wins including Pets at Home, Motability and Knight Frank. Wunderman Thompson has also being named Customer Engagement Agency of the Year for the last 4 years by Campaign.
While at Radley Yeldar, Ash established the RY Labs Innovation Hub for the fast prototyping of digital products ranging from interactive film and chatbots todata visualisation tools and platforms. He led pitches and client engagements for various global enterprise platforms and also led the diversity and inclusion strategy, setting board-level policy to advance inclusion across the business.
Ash has 20 years’ experience in commercial and strategic leadership roles at integrated and digital agencies including Dare and Mullen Lowe working with major clients such as Lego, Unilever, Pernod Ricard, Burger King, Morrisons, Vodafone, Sony Consumer Electronics, EA Games, Nestle, Motorola and Kraft.
During his career he has won a clutch of awards, including a Mobile Gold at Cannes Lions for Microloan “Pennies for Life,” a Drum B2B Brave award for JTI Chatbot, and was part of Campaign’s Digital Agency of the Decade in 2010.
