Senior appointments will help chart next chapter of growth

Arts & Letters announces new leadership appointments of four senior executives from within.

This marks a doubling down on operational efficiency for 2023 and beyond. Below, please find additional information on the new leaders:

Adrian Mojica has been appointed to a newly created role of head of operations at Arts & Letters, where he is responsible for continuing to build the ideal environment for A&L’s agile model, including integrating optimal systems, structures, tools and processes across A&L’s connected network of talent and the company’s internal production studio, XYZ. Adrian joined the agency in 2021 as Director of Operations for XYZ, supporting operational needs for the agency’s in-house studio. Prior to that, he worked at Osmosis Films, where he led the transformation of the shop’s award-winning creative strategy and production studio into a hybrid remote environment. Before that, Adrian spent 13 years building and leading studio teams at Digitas and JWT, producing award-winning work for American Express, Bloomberg, Diageo, NBC, and Microsoft.

Brenda Schneider has been appointed to the newly created role of head of business management, group business director at Arts & Letters, where she is responsible for setting the bar for client service, leading best practice across A&L’s Business Department, and nurturing the talent within the group. Additionally, she will continue leading initiatives for ESPN, which include the recent onboarding of the College Football and This is SportsCenter properties, as well as overseeing teams across the NFL, NBA, espnW, and There’s No Place Like Sports platforms. Brenda joined Arts & Letters from Gallegos United, where she worked as Group Business Director on the Xfinity business for the Hispanic Market. Before that, she worked at 180LA and Crispin Porter + Bogusky across various marquee brands such as Domino’s, vitaminwater, Volkswagen, Postmates, and Virgin Atlantic.

Sara Kastner has been appointed to a newly created role of head of staff at Arts & Letters, where she is responsible for helping to drive initiatives across the leadership team, prioritizing and operationalizing key strategies across the entire company. She will also partner with Creative Leadership to help run the department, coaching talent and leading creative management and resourcing. In 2019, Sara joined the agency as the Director of Creative Operations, where she helped to shift the approach to creative management and implemented an approach to resourcing. During this time, she launched a freelance strategy to match A&L’s rapid growth. With 20+ years of industry experience at award-winning agencies like Fallon, Wieden+Kennedy,  barrettSF and Barton F Graf, she has had the opportunity to work with top creative and business leaders, across a range of experience rooted in project management, creative operations and talent management.

Theo Abel has been appointed managing director of Arts & Letters. In his role, he will oversee all aspects of business operations, partnering with the Department and Discipline Leads to foster a world-class creative environment designed to facilitate strong partnerships with our clients, drive business and cultural impact with our work, and generate growth for the company and our talented group of employees. Prior to his appointment to MD, Theo served as the company’s Director of Operations, working to develop foundational and structural systems that strengthened both internal and external collaboration. He is an Arts & Letters “boomerang,” returning from DoorDash, where he helped expand their internal creative group. In his first tour at Arts & Letters, he served as a Group Business Director, helping build what has now become the company’s growing partnership with ESPN. Theo has over 15 years of experience in account management, honing his craft at Goodby Silverstein & Partners, The Martin Agency and Grey Group, leading initiatives for BMW, The NFL Network, Doritos, Adobe, BFGoodrich Tires, and 3M.

The four executives all come from within the agency, bringing their leadership in the industry and an intimate working knowledge of Arts & Letters. The agency will continue to build on its growth in the marketplace with recent organic wins with clients like ESPN (This is SportsCenter), new relationships like Tito's Handmade Vodka and Dick's Sporting Goods, as well as the continued success of the agency’s “Work Together Anywhere” operating model, including a new space in New York by the end of 2023.
