After a six month review process, Tesco has appointed Arnold KLP as their lead in-store creative agency.
Arnold KLP’s responsibilities span shopper marketing – strategy and planning, in-store creative development and activation across all store formats. The agency will work alongside Wieden & Kennedy, Tesco’s lead agency, on ensuring best-in-class communications across all touch points, in and out of store.
Matthew Gaunt, Head of Instore Marketing, Tesco said “As part of building a better Tesco for our customers, we are making our stores warmer and clearer. We want to lead on doing what’s best for customers and become best-in-class for innovation. Transforming the in-store communications is a big part of this journey, which has started with the development of new guidelines to ensure clear, compelling and consistent communication across all of our stores and these are being rolled out across the estate.”
Hugh Treacy, Managing Director, Arnold KLP said “Working with Tesco, you soon realize the incredibly high standards they set – the emphasis, rigor and importance they place on exceptional creative and in-store execution is second to none . This is a really exciting opportunity for Arnold KLP, and a challenge we’re relishing.”
