Argyle Brothers Expands Roster
Argyle Brothers adds director Stephen Pearson to their roster for commercial representation. Joining after a 4 year stint at Hungry Man, Pearson is known for the award winning Return to the Doghouse campaign he directed for JC Penney out of Saatchi, NY. Pearson creates visually arresting and character driven work. Pearson’s strong casting, sense of timing and appreciation for improvisation make his work stand apart by allowing viewers to truly engage with and relate to the characters and story.

Argyle Brothers Executive Producer, Brent Perlman and Pearson are long time colleagues and look forward to collaborating together. “My hope is I'll be able to continue to do the style of work I've always done, but also broaden my scope of projects to include other intelligent and interesting material,” states Pearson.

“I’m thrilled to have Stephen join the company,” adds Perlman. “I’m excited about his breadth of talent and the great body of work he brings to the roster, and I’m looking forward to supporting him as we move forward together.”

Pearson has directed entertaining spots and campaigns for clients such as Burger King, Microsoft, H&R Block, Miller High Life, Travel Channel, Domino’s, Southwest Airlines and Coors Light. Prior to his career as a Director, Pearson served for nearly 15 years on the agency side as an Art Director and/or Copy Writer at Merkley, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Mad Dogs & Englishmen, and Dweck & Campbell.

Pearson has garnered several awards including Cannes Lions, One Show Pencils, Art Directors Club Awards, Andy Awards, London International Advertising Awards, Addy Awards, Communication Arts Annuals, Clio Awards, British Design & Art Direction, AICP Awards and an Emmy Award nomination.

“We want to keep the shop small and focused, but I’m so glad that Stephen has joined our team of directors,” states Argyle Brothers Director, John Mastromonaco. “As a director I’m really impressed by Stephen's casting and performances, and his smart directorial decisions.”

Pearson is currently about to embark on a project with agency Barton F. Graf 9000.
