The&Partnership delivers new Argos campaign series encouraging Britain to have fun at home featuring 10-year-old drumming superstar Nandi Bushell
You might recognise Nandi, the 10-year-old drumming superstar who won the nation’s hearts in the Argos Christmas ad, who returned this month to teach children and adults how to drum. Not having a drum kit isn’t an excuse in this campaign, as Argos show you how make one out of household items in the first of four lessons, which have been available across Argos’ social channels and YouTube. The remaining lessons go through basic tips, and then the drum beat to ‘Gotta Get Thru This’ by Daniel Bedingfield; a fitting song for the current times, showing that together we’re getting thru this.
Created by The&Partnership, the series brings fun - and some noise - into homes across the UK, and culminates in Argos and Nandi inviting the nation to have a go themselves, asking them to share their videos for a chance to showcase their talents and feature in the music video, premiering during Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday night.
Yan Elliott, executive creative director, The&Partnership said: “A ten year old, Argos and an army of pots, pans and pedal bins have joined forces. Bang the drum for the Great British public who have proved, once again, they can come together and get through anything”.
This content series is part of a wider inspirational platform for Argos, which has been encouraging Brits to have fun at home and spend some time together during lockdown by running a den making competition and providing ideas to keep the kids entertained with homemade hacks.
