ARCADE Signs Bastian Kuhn for UK Representation

Berlin-based director Bastian Kuhn has joined ARCADE for UK commercial representation.

Bastian is known for relatable, endearing and brilliantly witty comedy directing no matter the subject, whether human, car or vegetable.

A former agency creative with a flair for comedy writing and directing, Bastian brings playfulness and humanity to every story and delivers clear, compelling, comedic visual storytelling.

Combining his natural gift for humour with an instinct for automotive action, Bastian has carved a niche in car comedy. From staging an action-comedy heist for Audi, to subverting a classic love song for Skoda, his comic set-ups give cars agency and a sense of humour.

His comedy talents have also seen him direct spots for Netflix and Google, and draw upon his fluency in VFX to serve up adorable singing asparagus for Lukull.

Bastian spent his early career at agencies such as DDB and heimat Berlin on campaigns for the likes of Mercedes, VW, Audi and Panasonic, where his work was recognised with numerous awards including Effies and Cannes Lions.
