Anthony Laranjo Joins Glassworks

Glassworks has announced that Anthony Laranjo has joined the London studio as senior compositor and VFX supervisor, helping to develop our evolving team in a post-Covid landscape.

To go with a strong technical knowledge of software and the VFX pipeline, Ant is also an emerging tech enthusiast who will further integrate the Glassworks 2D team with their immersive and experiential tech arm. Ant is reunited with our creative director of 2D, Duncan Malcolm, under whom he trained at Rushes many moons ago. They stayed in touch over the years and both leapt at the opportunity to be back under one roof.

Anthony spent the last two years heading up the Nuke team at Hogarth, including setting up departments across international offices. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Sky and before that, seven at Rushes. His short-form work includes commercials, idents, promos and title sequences, for the likes of Sky, Apple, Coca-Cola, Panasonic, Disney, Ribena, Kellogg’s, Bayer, Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, Sky Arts, Sky One, Sky Sports F1, Sky Italia and BBC One. His long-form work includes Unknown, Fish Tank and The Disappearance of Alice Creed.
