Soup may be a dish best served piping hot, but vengeance is quite another matter. London’s annual adland Soup Off is approaching, and the official trailer shows just how serious the contenders take the competition.
The event brings talent from agencies, production and post production together in a fun competition to win the Golden Ladle for the best soup, awarded by a panel of judges. The proceeds will go to Great Ormond Street Hospital, with a fantastic £1655.00 already raised. Each entrant pays £20 to enter, all donated to G.O.S.H, with proceeds from the Guest Beer on the day also donated.
The humorous film focusses on 2017 Winner Tom Skinner (BBH) and runner up Nicki Russell (Anomaly). Since being crowned winner last year, Tom has found fame and fortune with a green eyed Nicki determined to win this year and steal his limelight.
She enlists the help of the hapless Mickey Brooks (TAG), Kevin Smith (Publicis), Mike McKenna (TAG) and John Hodges, resulting in disastrous practise sessions and finally getting the most sensible help from the 4 year old Tilly.
The big contest takes place on Monday 10th December, at The Sutton Arms, 16 Great Sutton Street, EC1 from 1pm. Check out the trailer here:
