Following Anomaly Amsterdam’s appointment as agency of record for FOX, the first fully integrated campaign for the channel will launch on 12th August.
“Welcome to Dutchland” is a teaser campaign that is designed to introduce FOX television to the people of the Netherlands. It takes some of the most iconic characters from international movies, television series and football, and puts them in humorous, surprising and typically Dutch situations. The goal is to create a fun clash between international pop culture and specifically Dutch culture that announces the arrival of one of the biggest and boldest TV channels out there.
Executions include Homer Simpson trying his first herring; Holland’s most well-known former attorney, Bram Moszkowicz giving legal counsel to the villain from Scream at a typical Dutch café; zombies from The Walking Dead coming out of a local coffee shop; a group of international football players interrupted by Dutch cows grazing the football pitch.
At the end of August, the campaign will then evolve into “Welkom bij FOX” executions in OOH, print, radio and digital, introducing the full breadth of FOX’s programming across series, football and movies.
