Animal Logic CEO, Zareh Nalbandian announced today that Animal Logic had accepted one of the Export Awards top honours at its annual NSW Export Awards event last night.
The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) in association with the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) presents the NSW Arts and Entertainment Exporter of the Year Award. The award is given for outstanding export achievement across all cultural industries including the arts, performing arts, electronic and on-line entertainment.
Ian Murray AM, Executive Director- Export Council of Australia said: “The 2012 winners of the Premier’s NSW Export Awards are role models for other businesses in our State. The innovation, persistence, and focus they have exhibited in taking on the world and winning, in a period where the AUD is high and economic recovery is very fragile in many markets, is testament to their tenacity. This year’s winners represent the wonderful cross section of industry sectors in NSW that can compete on the world stage. They are wonderful ambassadors for our State and we wish them well as they continue their export journey.”
In accepting the Award, Rob Cornish, Animal Logic CFO said: “Animal Logic was proud and honoured to receive the Award, joining the distinguished list of previous winners over the past 50 years. We thank the Export Council of Australia, NSW Trade and Investment and Austrade for their sponsorship and support of the award. Continued generation of export revenues locally from large international film productions is critical to the future of both the company and the wider Australian film industry, generating jobs and economic benefit to both New South Wales and the Australian economy.”
