Andy Morahan Adds Rock 'n' Roll to Virgin Casino

Global production company and Great Guns director Andy Morahan was commissioned by Beta London to launch their first commercial campaign for Virgin Casino US and UK.    Andy’s legendary history and experience in the music industry and music promos stood him in good stead to bring some rock’n’roll of his own to shoot this retro hyper-real film.

In creating these ads, all the roads led to Los Angeles and Las Vegas where filming took place over four days to capture the locations, the environment, and the rigorous casting for some amazing characters to bring the campaign to life.

Andy and the team at One More Music re-recorded a breathy and sultry rendition of the classic Johnny Kidd and the Pirates track ‘Shakin All Over’ with UK artist Elsie.

This is the first of two spots to air, the second celebrates freewheeling and hedonism in Vegas, a reminiscent nod to ‘The Hangover’, which will be released later in the year.

Andy is currently collaborating on a project with the English National Opera to film the live performance of Benjamin Brittain’s famous opera Peter Grimes.  He has been commissioned by Empire to bring his unique rock n roll interpretation using multiple camera techniques with the live performance being screened in 200 cinema screens around the country.
