Affiperf has chosen digital ad specialist and entrepreneur Andrew Goode as head of its programmatic team in the UK. From this month Goode will take control of the fast-evolving programmatic trading and real-time bidding entity.
He will manage a team of UK programmatic traders responsible for audience planning and optimisation operations and will work across a number of clients.
Goode brings more than 16 years’ experience to the role, most recently as co-founder and chief operating officer of ad tech company Project Sunblock. He is a renowned specialist in creating next generation ad verification services in media trading and has serviced some of the biggest clients across Europe and North America, including Microsoft, Specific Media and WPP’s GroupM. Prior to Project Sunblock, Goode was a founder of Clickbrokers, a digital advertising network specialising in click-driven campaigns.
Lawrence Taylor, Global Head of Affiperf said: "Andrew is a great addition to the team. His past experience in ad verification and viewability will help reinforce our lead in this space. Andrew will help us raise our profile and boost senior level engagement for our clients in the UK."
Andrew Goode added: “My remit at Affiperf is an exciting one. There is currently a huge opportunity to drive and grow programmatic ad spend. The smooth integration of data and creative solutions with content partnership initiatives will be my initial primary focus.”
Goode began his media career at Carlton Interactive (ITV) in 2000 before working in the sales teams at Future Publishing and Quantum Publishing. He took time out of the industry to graduate from Sandhurst Military Academy in December 2002 and become a captain in the Royal Military Police. He was deployed to Iraq in 2004 as a Platoon Commander, responsible for training police forces in South Basra.
