Andrea Marini, Jack Bowden and Mariana Cobra Sign to Papaya Films
Papaya Films adds more incredible talent to its ever-expanding roster with brand new additions Jack Bowden, Mariana Cobra and Andrea Marini joining. The directors bring with them a rich tapestry of work and experience in the commercial landscape.
Andrea Marini used to work on documentaries and short films. After moving to Milan he expanded into commercials which became his main interest. His remarkable skills in visual storytelling allow him to stay elegant and technical, remaining true to his ability to face different themes with a signature style. Whether it is a Ferrari feature documentary, or a recipe from the greatest chef in the world, he continues to showcase his trademark aesthetics and homage to crafting. This allows him to transform every single gesture into a high-end execution story.
Andrea's client list also includes Barilla featuring a collaboration with chef Massimo Bottura and Campari.

Jack is a young director with a wealth of experience. Having honed his craft in fashion content and music videos, he has branched out to direct TV commercials and campaigns for global clients such as Nike, HP, Primark, Boohoo and Trivago. His curiosity towards filmmaking drives him to try new techniques wherever he can. His work is stylised, heavily featuring natural, unscripted moments of human connection along with haunting, surreal sequences when he crosses to his dark side.

Mariana Cobra is an EMMY winning film director based in São Paulo, Brasil. Multi-artist she is also a writer, photographer and cinematographer. Her commercial work for brands like Avon, Airbnb, Levi's and P&G captures real life from a magical yet realistic perspective, always working to achieve an innovative style. In 2020 Mari was selected for Berlinale Talents Buenos Aires 2021. Her narrative and non-fiction work plunges deep into the soul of imagination and creates dream-like poetic meditations on life, always questioning society standards.
She has also been nominated for best Cinematography at VMF - Video Music Festival Brasil in 2021.
