The Quarry editor Bruce Townend’s most recent collaboration with HLA director Simon Ratigan is this heartwarming commercial unveiled for Amazon Prime.
The premise of the film, which has unexpectedly stolen the hearts of many viewers this festive season, is one of selflessness and thinking of other people. In this story of friendship even in difference, a Vicar and an Imam are seen buying each other knee pads from Amazon Prime after realising that each others religious duties give them sore knees.
Bruce knits together an edit both sensitive and authentic and alongside Simon Ratigan’s understated yet powerful direction of a great idea created by Joint London’s Steve Williams & Adrian Lim, the film is beautifully delivered.
