Excellent, tactical print campaign for Heinz Salad Cream

AMV BBDO & Heinz Respond to Metro Text

After seeing a text about salad cream in yesterday's Metro newspaper, AMV BBDO responding with a print campaign for client Heinz Salad Cream just one day later. 

The agency saw the text in the ‘Send us your text’ section of the Metro. It read: “What can you put salad cream on if you don’t like salad?  I’ve just discovered a taste for it but I find celery, lettuce, tomato etc quite vile.  Graham, Kent”

They saw a great opportunity to produce a tactical response to address Graham’s question.  We turned the print ad around in a day and placed the response in today’s Metro opposite the ‘Send us your text’ column.

The playful tone of the ad links in with recent ‘Bring on the Zing’ Heinz Salad Cream campaign.
