Do you remember March and April?
Back then days were like weeks and weeks were like months. Things have speeded up a little since, and look set to speed up further over the rest of the year.
The pace of change is being driven by more than the reopening process and a gradual return to the office (for some). If anything, the experiences we all shared during the lockdown have left a legacy of preferences and spending habits that will shape consumer markets for months if not years to come.
'The Great Acceleration'

The research also compares future Irish shopping and spending intentions with those of UK and US consumers, highlighting new opportunities for brands and businesses in the decade ahead.
We are living through 'The Great Acceleration', the speed of which may leave many wishing for the 'quieter' pace of spring 2020.
