F&B Huskies devised an outdoor campaign highlighting the most significant causes of damage to homes in Ireland: water and fire

Allianz Insurance, Ireland’s leading property insurer, announced the launch of ‘Rebuild Better’ - a new and innovative benefit to support their home insurance customers with buildings cover to rebuild more sustainably when repairing damage to their homes.

First of its kind for the Irish market, Allianz Insurance ‘Rebuild Better’ benefit aims to empower their home insurance customers, with buildings cover, to invest in eco-friendly upgrades as part of the reconstruction process. It offers customers with eligible policies an additional €5,000 on buildings claims of €50,000 or more to make sustainable, energy-efficient improvements to their homes. The extra capital given to customers by Allianz Insurance will provide an additional boost to SEAI grants already available to consumers and allows them to choose from a wide range of energy upgrades including heat pump installation, PV solar panels, and attic and wall insulation.

To mark the launch, F&B Huskies devised an outdoor campaign highlighting the most significant causes of damage to homes in Ireland: water and fire. The interactive billboard, which was up at the end of last week on Baggot Street Lower, invited pedestrians passing to choose between pressing a water or fire button. Each selection delivered a unique projection experience: a fully soaked billboard or setting the billboard alight to reveal key product messaging. Like the ‘Rebuild Better’ benefit, it’s only in the case of emergency that the benefit of this policy is showcased. The campaign will be supported by a comprehensive radio & digital programme.

“At Allianz Insurance, we are committed to changing how people experience insurance. As the first insurer to bring this innovative proposition to Irish consumers, we are excited to launch Rebuild Better and support our customers on their sustainability journey. To mark the launch, we wanted to create a campaign that would literally stop people in their tracks and invite them to interact with the creative to ensure a tangible connection to the benefits of this unique product. We are delighted to see Allianz's Rebuild Better go live and look forward to continuing to innovate how we provide our customers with protection that gives them confidence in tomorrow.” said Mark Brennan, head of marketing with Allianz.

Ciarán Walsh, head of content production at F&B Huskies added, “We wanted to innovate around the traditional idea of a billboard campaign, while bringing home the visceral reality of fire and water damage. Working with a brilliant projection team and motion graphic studio we were able to highlight this incredible new benefit from Allianz that allows customers to rebuild their homes better.”

Rebuild Better forms just one part of Allianz Insurance’s commitment to building a more sustainable, secure future for its customers by pioneering innovative, home-grown solutions to meet their needs. Earlier this year, the insurer launched its Climate Safe Homes initiative to help futureproof Irish houses. Allianz announced it is investing €1 million in the project and bringing together experts from across construction, engineering, and architecture to develop a new home building model designed specifically to withstand the effects of Ireland’s changing climate.
