Alex Morris-Platt Joins Mother London as Chief People Officer

Today, Mother in London is making another step towards being considered one of the best places in the world to work, with the appointment of Alex Morri-Platt as its first chief people officer. 

Alex joins from TBWA UK, where she held the position of group people director for the past seven years - responsible for the full range of people functions across TBWA UK. 

Commenting on the move to Mother, Alex Morris said, “Throughout my conversations with Katie, Rollo and the team, it has been comforting to find we share many of the same beliefs. It’s clear that Mother truly cares about and values its people. They know better work will follow by getting the best for all of them. It’s a great base on which to build.” 

At Mother, Alex’s role will be central to ensuring decisions are made with the agency’s people in mind - creating the conditions that enable everyone to produce the best work they possibly can. She will lead the people and talent teams to deliver innovative and responsive programmes, with the overall aim to attract, grow and retain the world’s best creative talent. 

Within the ‘Make our Children Proud’ mission, Alex will be responsible for delivering the talent and people-focused pillars which include ‘Homegrown’ for progressive learning and development; ‘Make Yourself at Home’ for best-in-class people policies and practices; and elements of ‘Kindred’ Mother’s global DE&I programme.
