AKQA North America Announces Leadership Team Promotions

AKQA has promoted David Justus to Executive Director of Technology for North America and Sarah Cunningham to director of client services in AKQA’s New York studio. Sarah will help lead the New York studio, its partnerships and client collaborations, while David will oversee all of North America.

David is an award-winning technologist with a focus on the intersection of art, engineering and business. Prior to David’s appointment as executive director of technology for North America, he served as executive director of technology and business development for New York, helping clients achieve innovative technical solutions in complex environments.

On his appointment, David said: “AKQA has always had a wonderful tradition of bring art and science together to create extraordinary experiences. I am excited to help drive that tradition in my new role where we can start to think more regionally about how to bring technical innovation at scale to our clients.”

Sarah is a marketing leader who drives digital acceleration and business performance with a diverse range of clients across the US, UK and Australia. She joined AKQA in 2015 and leads a number of AKQA’s longest standing client relationships and is now responsible for the NY Studio client portfolio, ensuring each client engagement is serviced to the highest standards.

Sarah said: “I am excited to be taking on this leadership role with AKQA. I am a huge advocate for defining the “why” in everything we do, to get to purpose driven outputs and results.
