AIRBAG has announced the appointment of Martin Box to the newly created head of production role.
Says
Adrian Bosich, managing partner, AIRBAG: "Martin is that perfect
combination of creative and pragmatic producer. He's got decades of film
experience, and recently produced our 'Made Possible by Melbourne'
outdoor exhibition campaign for McCann Melbourne, which just picked up
five pieces of metal at Adfest. We're already benefiting from his agile
thinking."
Since moving to Australia in 2014 to produce for Mark
Molloy, Box has brought to life numerous award-winning campaigns,
including RSL 'Minutes Silence', Samsung 'Every Day is Day One', and
Qantas 'Feels Like Home'.
Prior to working in Australia, Box produced a wide variety of high-end
projects for Hungry Man, Stink and Framestore, and in 2013 line produced
Lynne Ramsay's BAFTA winning film, 'The Swimmer'.
Says Martin:
"I'm flattered to have been invited to join the team at AIRBAG. You
won't find a smarter, funnier and more dedicated bunch of people
anywhere. The way they've embraced communication through new
technologies, such as the Interactive 'Meet Graham' campaign, in
addition to their approach to traditional formats, is truly inspiring.
I've always enjoyed the challenge of production, and in a company as
creative and well positioned as AIRBAG, you get to see some of the most
exciting projects out there. My hope is that my added experience will
help the Directors, Technologists and Visual Effects Artists make the
best of every opportunity."
