Join the AICP as it returns to Quaker Ridge Golf Club, the home of the 2018 Curtis Cup. Ranked the #76 golf course in the country by Golf Digest, the par-70, 7,008-yard A. W. Tillinghast design – often called 'Tillies Treasure' – is frequently mentioned when accomplished golfers are asked to name the best course in the Metropolitan New York area. Registration is now open.
The day will be packed with fun and games, including a pre-tournament putting contest, a hole-in-one contest, longest drive, closest to the pin and a birdie contest, with winners walking away with great prizes. Guests will also be able to bid on a bevy of fantastic items up for auction before the tournament and during the post-round dinner buffet.
As always, all proceeds from The Madison Ave. Open will benefit the AICP Foundation, which is devoted to promoting diversity initiatives in the commercial production industry. Current beneficiaries include: the AICP Scholarship at the VCU Brandcenter, and the Streetlights (LA) and Made in New York (NYC) production assistant training program.
Format:
This is not a scramble; it will be a 'best ball' competition using handicaps where every golfer will pay their own ball. Each team will choose their best score for each hole. Please keep in mind that we are once again limiting the number of foursomes to keep the golf experience and the outing as enjoyable as possible.
Special Contests Throughout the Course Will Include: Closest to the Pin – Longest Drive – Hole In One Contest – Birdie Contest
