Agile Films Signs Director Aleem Khan

Agile Films announces that Aleem Khan has joined its roster for commercial representation. Raised in Kent, and based in London, Aleem is an already established and well recognised director and writer in his own right.

His celebrated short films have played at over 100 festivals world wide with Aleem being nominated for a BAFTA for Best British Short in 2015 for his film Three Brothers.

Named a ‘Star of Tomorrow’ by Screen International in 2015 and a BAFTA Breakthrough in 2020, he is also a 2017 fellow of both the Sundance Screenwriter's and Director's Labs.

His debut feature film, After Love, was a festival smash receiving Official Selections at Cannes Critics’ Week, Telluride, TIFF, Tokyo, Rome and The London Film Festival 2020. Backed by BBC Films, BFI and The Sundance Institute, After Love was released in cinemas nationwide in June and has quickly become one of this year's most critically acclaimed debuts.
