The Doritos brand put together an opportunity action on Facebook this past Saturday (August 15th), engaging thousands of young Brazilians.Taking advantage of 'Singles Day', the brand took over social media to make some noise. In a very creative manner, Doritos asked its followers to tag single friends on their fan page.
The origin of this date, celebrated in Brazil on August 15th, is unknown, but since we already have Valentine’s Day, someone thought it would be fair to also celebrate Singles Day.
On Singles Day, people who are not married, engaged or otherwise spoken for, take the opportunity to organize parties and other activities to celebrate the fact that they are 'free'.
