ADYOULIKE, pioneers in native advertising, today announce the appointment of a new UK Managing Director (MD), Lee Gibson.
Gibson is an industry veteran who joins from content discovery platform, Outbrain, where he was Head Of Sales For Northern Europe. During his time at the company, he led the UK sales team’s growth with a focus on video, programmatic, content marketing and performance-based marketing strategies within the native space.
As part of his new role, Lee will be responsible for the UK’s financial performance and also the team, managing all UK business operations. ADYOULIKE, established in 2011, with offices in London, New York, Paris, Berlin and Milan is a global leader in native advertising technology, specialising in infeed native advertising, native display and programmatic native advertising. The infeed native advertising market is expected to grow to be worth in excess of $40Bn by 2021.
Gibson has over 18 years experience within the media industry. He cut his teeth at News UK, spending 13 years at the publisher and working his way up to become Head Of Media. From there, he joined Exterion Media as Head Of Agency Sales, focusing on outdoor advertising. During his time there, he was responsible for handling Adidas’ outdoor campaign for the World Cup 2014, in which it became the first brand to paint entire London Routemaster buses.

Lee’s appointment is part of wider global management changes at ADYOULIKE in 2018, which have been implemented to spearhead international growth and necessary as a result of ADYOULIKE experiencing exponential growth year on year. Included in these changes are a new Managing Director in France. Dale Lovell, existing UK Managing Director and co-founder, will move to Chief Marketing & Partnerships Officer overseeing ad-operations, marketing and strategic partnerships globally as part of the changes.
