Advertising Week to Integrate NFTs into Programming in Collaboration with

Advertising Week, the world's largest annual gathering of marketing, advertising, media and technology leaders, announced today the introduction of two non-fungible token (NFT) collections to be distributed to its Advertising Week Europe attendees and community. 

The move makes Advertising Week the largest industry event organiser to integrate NFTs as a central component of its educational experiences. The collections will be powered by, the end-to-end platform that helps brands access and unlock the value of NFTs in an eco-friendly way. 

The 'Future is Female' NFT collection honours outstanding women in leadership who were selected as winners at the Future is Female Awards. Honourees will be presented with their NFT alongside a traditional physical trophy. Winners will receive additional benefits to be unlocked by the NFTs, including a community and membership to Advertising Week.

The AWEurope CPD Badge NFT collection rewards Advertising Week’s community for attending seminars in-person and online and completing AWEurope education badges which unlock additional educational benefits and access. 

“Eighty-two percent of women feel that brands disproportionately target their NFT campaigns towards men, according to data from agency Berlin Cameron. We want to make sure the marketing industry’s leading women, identified by our Future is Female Awards, have a chance to take part in NFTs in a meaningful way,” says Ruth Mortimer, global president of Advertising Week. “Extending NFTs into our training offering is also an important way that we can educate people about this space while involving them in it at the same time."

As Advertising Week’s official NFT partner, Myntr strategised, created and minted the collections, which they will airdrop to the winners and badge holders during the event. All assets were minted onto the Polygon network, one of the most widely used, energy-efficient blockchain platforms available today.

The two NFT collections will be integrated into Advertising Week Europe (May 16-19th, 2022). Additional collections will be released for Advertising Week New York (September 19-22th, 2022), as well as additional events and education experiences throughout the year.
