The ‘daily dose of creativity’ livestreams will include the D&AD Awards 2020 and the D&AD Festival keynotes from June onwards

Adobe has today announced Adobe Live, its series of live creative shows, will extend to the UK as a series of daily interactive livestreams, providing people with a regular dose of creative inspiration and keeping them connected and learning during these uncertain times. In addition, a partnership with D&AD will see a series of creative excellence insight sessions, Q&As and talks integrated into the Adobe Live online sessions in June and July.

Adobe’s focus on online event formats to support communities and customers remotely with innovative and engaging live experiences follows the recent announcement that Adobe MAX, the world’s largest creativity conference, will for the first time ever be a fully-digital experience, available to everyone at no cost.

The recent success of Adobe’s virtual Summit and its digital content activity, which generated more than 450,000 global attendees across the world, has underlined the strong demand from customers and communities for high-quality live and on-demand content, at scale.

Adobe Live, running on Behance, features some of the world’s leading creative minds sharing their tips, tricks and techniques on how to best use Adobe tools; including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and more. In these interactive sessions, livestream viewers are encouraged to share their unique challenges and questions for Adobe’s visionary speakers to solve in real time.

“We’re privileged to host one of the biggest and most active creative communities in the world,” said Simon Morris, senior director, marketing at Adobe. “Adobe Live brings together creatives from every background imaginable. It represents an incredible opportunity for our community to come together, share ideas, get inspired, and above all, celebrate creativity; we’re delighted to tailor it to our thriving community in the UK.”

Throughout June and July, Adobe will also bring the D&AD Awards 2020 and the D&AD Festival keynotes to the creative community via Adobe Live. A full schedule will be announced soon here.

  • Adobe Presents: D&AD Awards will feature a series of panel discussions and Live Q&A interviews with the D&AD judges, as well as behind the work live talks with Pencil winners to explore the components of creative brilliance, uncover why the winning work was awarded and discover how it was made.
  • Adobe Presents: D&AD Imagine Everything will see creative innovators take to Adobe Live to present their D&AD Festival keynotes as part of an inspirational series of monthly talks from June to November to inspire, galvanise and drive forward creative thinking. A full schedule can be found on the D&AD website.

People can subscribe to Adobe Live now for notifications when the livestreams launch, catch on-demand recordings of every session, and keep up to date with all the latest Adobe programmes on the horizon, including our popular Live from the Sofa series.

With more inspirational speakers still to be announced, recent Adobe Live sessions can be found here and include:

  • A Q&A with illustrator Hazel Mead on using Adobe Fresco to create digital colouring templates
  • Tips and tricks from photographer Joe Allam on using Adobe Premiere
  • A masterclass in 3D and storytelling for the digital age with creative director Lucy Hardcastle
