Zac Ella has directed the latest World Cup Adidas Glitch19 spot with a series of football stars.

The campaign put a spotlight on two FIFA World Cup stars - Benjamin Mendy and Paulo Dybala - who are the latest to power-up and join the Adidas #Glitch19 squad.

As the biggest players attached to #Glitch19, Adidas rewarded the dynamic duo by creating bespoke football boots that have been designed and crafted with each player’s alter ego in mind - Mendy ‘The Shark’ and Dybala ‘The Jewel’.

Each film acts as a superhero title sequence that sees each of the players morph from the norm and enter a Glitch Portal as a super-football hero.

The timeline to create the films was tight with three weeks to deliver from the shoot date. The shoot took place in London and Paris, with each of the players showing off their acting skills against green screen.

Alongside the creatives at Iris, Agile director Zac Ella developed a set of fun, high energy, unexpected films that is an extension from the previous GLITCH Spring/Summer campaign.
