adidas has today announced its Cannes Lions 2017 programming, and appointment of Alegra O’Hare, VP of Global Communications as a member of the Creative Effectiveness Jury at the 64th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
On June 21 at 1000, adidas will take the main stage and lead a creative conversation on defining what it means to be a creator. Joining adidas Creative Director Paul Gaudio, will be an esteemed group of the brand’s creative collaborators including Stan Smith, Alexander Wang and Ferdinando Verderi Creative Director of Johannes Leonardo, to discuss how collective memory, community and culture have led adidas to be a true creator brand.

The following day, June 22 at 1630, Jenny Pham, Director of Global Communications for adidas Originals and Silvia Calligher, Director of Global PR & Social Media for adidas Originals, Style and Trend Marketing will be speaking on the “101 Great Minds” panel about the importance of music in brand marketing. The panel will be led by sonic branding expert Uli Reese and will explore the notion of how music can help immerse brands in pop culture.
Leading brand communication for the lifestyle division of adidas, Alegra O’Hare, will sit on the jury for the Creative Effectiveness award. Last year, Originals’ creative campaigns received multiple Cannes Lions awards all under the direction of O’Hare.
