ADCE Names International Jury for 2023 Awards

In the build-up to its 2023 edition, the Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE) has revealed this year’s ADCE Awards jury members. Six international top professionals will be the 2023 Jury Presidents, under the leadership of Pancho Cassis, Global Chief Creative Officer & Partner of DAVID. They are:

● Youri Guerassimov,, Chief Creative Officer of Marcel Worldwide (France)

● Print & Outdoor: Una Rozenbauma, Creative Director of Rozenbauma un māsas (Latvia)

● Interactive & MobileAndreea Ghenoiu, Creative Director & Partner of Jam Session Agency (Romania)

● Design: Borja Martínez, Creative Director & Founder of Lo Siento (Spain)

● Brand Experience: Claus Fischer, Director & Founder of Voss+Fischer (Germany)

● Integrated & Innovation: Kat Hahn, Creative Director of Meta (United Kingdom)

In total, 56 leading creatives have been selected from 21 European countries to judge. The juries will meet in Barcelona on the 9th and 10th of November to debate the best creative work from all around Europe. They will not only award Gold, Silver, and Bronze across each category, but also the overall Grand Prix, and the ADCE’s Special Awards: the European Star-Johannes Newrkla, the Genius Loci, the Green Star and the Equal Star. 

The One Club’s Global Creative Rankings

After its recent merger with the global The One Club for Creativity, the ADCE will be able to grow and promote European creativity beyond the continent, bringing various benefits to its community including all ADCE Awards winners. 

For the first time, all ADCE laureates will be incorporated into The One Club’s Global Creative Rankings, making it the industry’s foremost global ranking of agencies, brands, work, and creative professionals. 

The Global Creative Rankings will now combine points from The One Show, global ADC Annual Awards, ONE Asia Creative Awards, The One Club US chapter awards, Type Directors Club TDC competitions and ADCE Awards.

Points accrued by ADCE Awards winners will gain them visibility and prestige around the world, and also now will count towards global totals for network and holding company rankings.

ADCE Festival 2023 and Executive Creative Summit-Barcelona

ADCE’s annual European Creativity Festival is back in person, scheduled to take place at Barcelona’s Design Hub from November 30th to December 1st. 

This prominent event is set to bring together a wide variety of professionals representing diverse fields, united by their sustained dedication to sparking change and cultivating innovation through creativity. The festival serves as a common space for Europe's creative community to come together, gain inspiration, and participate in the exchange of invaluable experiences.

This year, ADCE presents a compelling theme: "Agents of Change", curated by Wesley ter Haar, founder of MediaMonks, and executive director at S4 Capital Group.  It will feature a lineup of conferences, immersive workshops, exhibits, and networking spaces devised to celebrate design and new creative solutions.

Moreover, for the first time ADCE teams up with The One Club for Creativity to bring its exclusive programme Executive Creative Summit to Barcelona alongside the Festival. A forum for a select group of industry leaders to discuss issues far beyond the scope of creativity that affect their businesses, providing a rare opportunity for honest exchange of productive ideas in a confidential setting. 

The Festival will culminate with the Awards Gala Ceremony on Friday 1st December where the entire creative community will celebrate the best in European graphic design and communication creativity of the year. All national winners can submit their work before October 6th.
