DDB EMEA holds top ranked agencies in many of the region’s key markets, such as Germany, France, Sweden and the UK
Alex Hesz, group CSO at adam&eveDDB, takes on the new role of chief strategy officer, DDB EMEA, and joins DDB’s global executive leadership team, effective immediately. In the new role, Hesz will be working across the EMEA region on pan-regional and global clients, as well as developing the region’s strategic offering, talent and capabilities.

Glen Lomas, president of DDB, EMEA, says: “Alex’s strategic contribution to adam&eveDDB’s success is evident. His expanded role will ensure this success proliferates and that DDB’s notable record of strategic dominance continues.”

Hesz’ current position as group chief strategy officer at adam&eveDDB, which covers both the London and New York agencies, remains unchanged.
Alex says: “It’s a really exciting opportunity to work with some brilliant brands, planners and agencies across the region. adam&eveDDB is my home, will remain my home, and that’s not going to change, but this broader remit lets me learn from other great agencies and individuals in the network, and share what we’ve learnt here so far.”

Hesz adds: “The better connected we are as a planning community, the more we benefit. And from partnering with one another, we can establish DDB EMEA as a coherent, consistent strategic force. As we get through this time, ideas that can bring people together across borders, finding common humanity, giving brands a meaningful role, are going to be more important than ever. Across EMEA, I want DDB to be the place those ideas come from.”
