VMLY&R has appointed Gary Teo as managing director of experiences and technology to elevate the connected brand experience for clients across Asia.
Gary returns to VMLY&R to lead the experiences and technology portfolio. With expertise in marketing technologies, customer experience and product management, Gary is tasked with building the agency’s E&T capabilities and partnerships across the region. His immediate focus is on applying customer experience (CX) and data-driven marketing technology solutions to help drive business KPIs and provide value for VMLY&R clients. Based in Singapore, Gary will report to Asia co-CEO Tripti Lochan.
Gary has over 10 years of experience working with global brands, leveraging data and technology to optimise customer experience and drive lead generation. He first joined VML(Y&R) in 2013, where he led the agency’s technology practice, rapidly building and scaling the technology portfolio, capabilities and team. Gary was instrumental in leading the digital user experience transformation for notable brands in the region including 3M, Hilton, Ford, CIMB, Shiseido and Dell. He joins VMLY&R from his role as Marketing Technologies Lead at Accenture.
