Accenture Interactive has appointed Elizabeth Shanklin as managing director for the communications, media and technology practice for the West region in North America. Elizabeth joins from SapientRazorfish, and brings more than 30 years of experience in the digital and advertising communications industries, leading programs and campaigns for Fortune 100+ clients in the technology and communications sectors. In her new role, Shanklin will be working with various teams to lead customer engagements and drive digital transformation, for both B2B and B2C clients.
Prior to joining Accenture Interactive, she was VP, General Manager of SapientRazorfish West Region where she ran a book of business that included MGM Resorts International, Avnet and Petsmart for the Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. Prior to SapientRazorfish, she served as worldwide managing director at Ogilvy & Mather on the Cisco and Yahoo! accounts, as well as the Managing Director of its Los Angeles office. Earlier stints included J Walter Thompson, where she led the global engagement for Motorola and McCann Erickson, where she led the B2B campaigns and client engagement of Microsoft account, strategically repositioning Microsoft with the B2B targets audiences and launched Windows 2000 and .NET
