Aardman Wins at the Drum Roses Awards

Four of Aardman's projects from the last twelve months have won twelve awards at The Drum Roses Awards 2020. The awards identifies, rewards and celebrates the best work across advertising, digital and design.

Directed by Gav Strange, the emotive Turtle Journey for Greenpeace won a whopping three gold awards for the following categories: Online Video, Animation and Charity/Not for Profit.

StorySign, directed by Neil Pymer also won an amazing three gold awards for Best App, Innovative Use of Technology, and Digital Craft. Developed in partnership with FCB Inferno and Huawei Mobile UK, StorySign helps deaf children learn to read in a collaborative way, using real children’s books to create a connection to the written word.

Director, Will Studd created a beautiful CG promo for ITV’s Dancing On Ice, name Music Box. The spot brought home a brilliant four awards in total: Three silver awards for Art Direction, Animation and Digital Craft, and one bronze for Music and Entertainment.

And finally, directed by Åsa Lucander, the video for Coldplay’s emotional track Daddy won the gold award for Art Direction, and silver for Animation.
