Applebee’s today launches a new 60-second spot from Grey New York focusing on its Car Side To Go pick-up service.
A busy, happy doctor/mum’s life in the fast lane from ballet to treating patients to late night visits to the cleaner to feeding the family is showcased to the music of 'Runaround Sue', the 1961 hit by American singer Dion.
Applebee’s CMO Joel Yashinsky said: “The song ‘Runaround Sue’ is a classic and beloved song that we feel best represents the hectic and hurried daily life of our hero character, who embodies many Applebee’s customers and their desire for convenient food options in an increasingly busy world.”
The spot was directed by Leigh Marling through Tool.
