A Little More Conversation Covers Mental Health During a Pandemic for Third Episode

A Little More Conversation is a breakthrough podcast created to promote honest and meaningful discussions about mental health within the Advertising Industry.

In its third episode, the hosts of the show Lacyn Clarke and Chloe Heatlie of Adelphoi Music chat to award-winning creative director Tamryn Kerr at VMLY&R. With a 13-year career spanning  agencies including BBH London, Joint London, Publicis London, Colenso BBDO and TBWA Auckland, Tamryn shares her observations of Mental Health within the industry, the challenges of looking out for your team during a pandemic and how finding ‘your people’ can be your best support network, mentor and life coach - all in one.

As a passionate advocate for women in creative industries, Tamryn discusses the challenges of working as a female creative and the importance of surrounding yourself with relatable industry friends to fill that ‘mentor’ void.

And with 88% of young female creatives saying they lack role models; it’s an important conversation to be having as a new generation of young talent try to break through the industry this year. As a She Says Who’s Your Momma mentor, Tamryn offers some invaluable advice in this department and encourages us to look out for each other this year.

Lacyn and Chloe insist they are not medical professionals, just two gals hoping to open up the conversation surrounding mental health over a cup of tea, albeit virtually for the moment. If you would like to get involved in an episode, please get in touch with them!
