Winter weather got you down? How about a rowdy snowball fight to lift your spirits? Juniper Park/TBWA’s new commercial for the 2017 Nissan Rogue brings a vast snowy landscape to life with some good old-fashioned fun in “Return of the Snowmen.” Directed by Sequoia Content, Hey Wonderful’s Cedric Nicolas-Troyan , who earned an Oscar nomination for Visual Effects on Snow White and the Huntsman, the commercial showcases the vehicle’s All-Wheel-Drive as it defeats an army of snowmen in a snowball fight. The 2017 Nissan Rogue leaves no doubt about its ability to #ConquerAllConditions.

Nicolas-Troyan is known for his visually arresting work directing Universal’s The Huntsman: Winter’s War, 2016’s dark fantasy action-adventure film starring Emily Blunt, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Jessica Chastain, and commercials for brands such as Samsung, Sega and Time Warner Cable, to note just a few. Nicolas-Troyan’s credits also include second unit directing Disney’s blockbuster Maleficent and Universal Pictures’ Snow White and the Huntsmen.
