Grey Melbourne and the Transport Accident Commission Victoria (TAC) are helping families channel their grief in a heart-wrenching installation designed to encourage road safety. Behind each gifts at the exhibition is a heart-breaking story of a life lost and of loved ones whose Christmas is ruined.
The heartache of facing Christmas following the loss of a friend or family member on the roads is the focus of this touching installation of 209 Christmas gifts that will never given. Hundreds of photos, tributes and drive safely messages were left at #ungivengifts.
The Ungiven Gifts installation features 209 gifts, symbolising the number of lives lost on Victorian roads this year, and takes place at the State Library in Melbourne.
