‘A Call to Arms, Making Room for Next Generation Directors’ with Martin Roker, Ben Schneider, Juliette Larthe, and Hannah Bellil

In the lead-up to the UK Creative Festival in Margate, September 2022, LBB and UK Creative Festival will be sharing some of the most inspiring panel discussions from the past year.

In the next instalment of UKCF’s published talks, Alex Reeves (LBB) is joined by Martin Roker, global head of Black Dog Films, Ben Schneider, managing director at RadicalMedia, Juliette Larthe, founding partner and executive producer at PRETTYBIRD UK, and Hannah Bellil, global head of Stink Rising.

The panellists explain how to forge your path in the everchanging industry, when it’s valuable to take risks, and why finding your creative voice is getting increasingly difficult. In addition, they tackle the lack of representation in the industry, debate the importance of turning talk into positive action, and discuss the power of having difficult conversations to produce change.

Watch now to learn what Ben Schneider and Hannah Bellil believe are the biggest challenges facing young directors, and how Martin Roker and Juliette Larthe invest their time uplifting talent…
