FCB Inferno, Battersea Cats & Dogs Home, and a young boy named Tom are on the hunt for our industry's cutest four-legged friend
Tom Baxter is a 13-year-old boy with autism who has a fascination with dogs. A few years ago, after being let down when his favourite dog show was cancelled, he decided to start his own annual online dog and cat show. Tom uses the show as an opportunity to help fund-raise for Battersea Cats & Dogs Home. This year, as Battersea's agency, FCB Inferno has seen an opportunity to spread Tom's reach.
The agency wants to send the challenge out to not just its own clients but every ad agency in London. Tom will determine the ultimate industry pet and all proceeds will go directly to Battersea.
FCB hopes that the competitive nature of the industry will encourage lots of entries, giving Tom plenty of cute pet photos to judge as well as raising money for Battersea. FCB is even going to let Tom take over its @FCBInferno
social media to give us daily updates on the latest entries and to promote his event further.
So, pet owners of the ad world, you have until the 10th December to stake your claim in this most esteemed of competitions.
To get involved, all you have to do is:
1. Submit a photo of your pet to Tom by posting on Instagram with #TODACS and #YourCompanyName, and tag @LBBonlinepix
3. Hold onto to your pets while you wait to find out if your fluff ball will be crowned Tom’s Ad Agency Top Dog or Cat. Winners will be announced by Tom on the 11th December.
