72andSunny Sydney Appoints Luke Martin as Head of Product

72andSunny Sydney has appointed Luke Martin as head of product, leading the creative output in Australia, from the global company’s Manly office.

During his seven years on the US West Coast he led Facebook’s augmented and virtual reality team Oculus as executive creative director. He was also a senior creative at Apple in Cupertino where he helped set the vision and aesthetic for a suite of product campaigns. He has previously worked at TBWA/Media Arts Lab in Los Angeles and Sydney.

An Aussie, Luke recently returned to Sydney, and he joins from a stint at BMF.

Luke joins the management team together with Ross Berthinussen, head of strategy, Tara Jaijee, head of growth, and David Williams, head of finance APAC.

The appointment follows new client partnerships for 72andSunny Sydney with Chubb, Lion’s Toohey’s Extra Dry and Little Creatures, Infigen and recent work for Google, Uber and Byron Bay Brewery.
