Group creative director Daniel Ko hired as Farhan Darma is promoted to senior art director

72andSunny Singapore Expands Creative Team

72andSunny Singapore has hired Farhan Darma as senior art director and promoted Daniel Ko to group creative director effective immediately. Farhan has close to 10 years of experience as a photographer and art director and was most recently at VCCP working on the global Shell business and Netflix. Daniel was one of the earliest creative hires at 72andSunny Singapore and has spent two decades across companies like BBH, TSLA and Iris, working on brands like Tiger Beer and NTUC Income. At 72andSunny, he leads the team on Johnnie Walker, Carousell and GIC among others.

Johnny Tan, executive creative director of 72andSunny APAC said: “It’s always such a joy seeing our guys rise and thrive. Daniel has been absolutely brilliant since Day One. And bringing on more talent like Farhan, just adds to the fun in the work.”

“I’m excited to be part of the team. It’s amazing to see there’s still fun and bravery in the work here,” added Farhan.

The news follows 72andSunny’s hire of Judy Ang as group brand director and promotion of Jaclyn Lee and Jonathan Tan to senior strategy director and brand director at the end of 2021, citing business growth and momentum.

72andSunny ended last year with a 40th anniversary activation for GIC that made headlines across Singapore. Partnering with urban farmers Gardens with Purpose, the agency transformed bus stops into living farms, growing crops like lettuce and Chinese broccoli, which were harvested and donated to community kitchen Willing Hearts. The refreshing installations were featured across national press The Straits Times, CNA, Berita, Lianhe Zaobao and Seithi, drawing curious bystanders and crowds.
