72andSunny announced today that Evin Shutt, Director of Brand Operations, has been elevated to Partner, making the agency’s first full-time non-founding employee its first female partner. As Partner, Shutt will formalise and scale the agency’s brand operations, ensuring that the philosophies, best practices and processes that Shutt helped to establish in the early days of the agency remain intact and evolve as the agency continues on its current trajectory.
“Each member of our brand teams is expected to be equal parts business leader, strategic thinker and project manager – and Evin epitomises all of these things to the nth degree. Who better than she to lead our brand teams and scale our best practices?” said CEO John Boiler. “The other partners and I are thrilled to see what Evin does as Partner.”
During her 8-year tenure at 72andSunny, Shutt has worked extensively with the agency’s first client, Bugaboo, to establish the startup as a global player in the modern parenting category. Additionally, Evin has been key to the launch of multiple titles for Activision, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, as well as Nike’s European football initiative, “The Next Level.”
“Having been with 72andSunny since the very beginning, I’m proud to work at a place that has stayed true to its founding values and that is always aiming to unleash the inner talent in each and every employee,” said Shutt. “We have a special culture of making and doing, and I look forward to ensuring that we continue to put our philosophies into action.”
