72andSunny Singapore has created a series of badges in support of healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 virus. Designed and produced pro bono, the messages range from ‘Majulah Medics’ to ‘Nurses are the Nicest’ and ‘Tok Kong Doctors,’ and take the form of pin badges and physical and digital stickers.
The creative company is inviting Singaporeans to stand by healthcare workers who not only face the stress of fighting the virus, but have in some instances, been ostracised and shunned.
“We stand against fear and we know most Singaporeans are incredibly appreciative of our medical workers. This is a symbol of support for all. We feel passionately about this, as a company and as individuals, with partners or parents who are nurses, doctors and drivers,” said Ida Siow, executive strategy director, 72andSunny Singapore.
“The badges take the ubiquitous facemasks and turn them into heart-shaped icons - with different messages cheering our healthcare heroes on. They are simple, heartfelt and most importantly, visible gestures that we are united behind our healthcare heroes,” said Johnny Tan, executive creative director, 72andSunny APAC.
The physical badges and stickers will be available beginning 21st February afternoon at partner locations while supplies last at:
Lucha Loco (15 Duxton Hill, Singapore 089598) Kilo Kitchen (97 Duxton Rd, Singapore 089541) nana & bird (1M Yong Siak Street, Singapore 168641) Plain Vanilla Bakery (134 Telok Ayer Street, Singapore 068600)
