The 18th Golden Hammer international advertising festival will be held in Rīga on 31 May and 2 June and will feature lectures by the heads of industry-leading advertising and communications agencies about the opportunities and challenges the industry faces today. The festival will conclude with the traditional awards event in the evening on 2 June.
Our 24 jury members from 16 countries have finished the first round of voting and announced the shortlisted works. And we are pleased to say that our shortlist is just as international as our jury, with 131 works from 15 countries. Full shortlist:

The next stage is picking and announcing the winners next Friday 2 June, when Golden Hammer takes over Rīga for the day.
The workshop “Heroes, Content, and Storytelling: The Future of Marketing and PR” will take place at the Pullman Riga Old Town Hotel on 31 May and will be led by Chair of the Golden Hammer PR Jury 2017 Dr. Saskia Wallner, Ketchum Global Partner and CEO of Ketchum in Austria.
The conference will take place at the Pullman Riga Old Town Hotel on 2 June. Reflecting Golden Hammer’s international stature, the conference language will be English. Industry luminaries and Festival jury members – Hanja Baruschke, Creative Director Digital of Jung von Matt/Limmat, Switzerland; Levan Lepsveridze, Creative Director of Leavingstone, Georgia; Alexander Kapelevich, Creative Owner of LOGA BIGA, Belarus; Tobias Wacker, Creative Director of hasan & partners, Finland; Tajo Oja, Lead Designer and Partner of Fraktal, Estonia – will stimulate the conference audience with thought-provoking and challenging talks.
The festival will conclude on 2 June with an Awards Event at the Pullman Riga Old Town Hotel and Afterparty at the Kaņepes Kultūras centrs.
