180 has restructured its global management team, with a clear focus on “180 Thinking” and growth.
Michael Allen, Managing Partner and President of 180 Los Angeles (180LA), has been appointed 180’s
Global Chief Executive Officer. Mike will continue to oversee day‐to‐day management of the agency’s Los Angeles office, but will add responsibility for 180’s global operation.
180's founder Chris Mendola will continue to lead the agency, as Chairman. He will concentrate on the
agency’s growth through new and expanded client relationships, and continue to focus the agency around its founding ethos of “180 Thinking.”
“Since the day 180 started, our passion has been to create brave ideas for brands in order to move
businesses forward across geographical, cultural, and media boundaries. This passion is central to
everything we do, especially as our client roster grows to include more and more iconic, world‐class
brands,” said Mendola.
“Without a doubt, Mike is the man to take responsibility for 180's global business. He opened 180LA for us five years ago and has a reputation for building very strong agency‐client partnerships. Over the last 25 years, he has helped to create some of the industry’s most famous and effective advertising on global brands, including Apple, Nike, Nissan, adidas, Ray‐Ban and Sony,” added Mendola.
180’s global management team is comprised of Mendola and Allen along with the agency’s four other
managing partners: 180 Amsterdam President Kevin Dundas, LA's Executive Creative Director William
Gelner, Amsterdam Executive Creative Director Al Moseley, and LA’s Head of Production Peter Cline.
